Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley joins $6.8 million national homebuilding effort:

Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley has been awarded $56,000 to build a home in Twin Falls. Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley was given the award in conjunction with an announcement of a national gift made by Thrivent Financial on Dec. 17, 2012. The 2013 commitment from the organization is $6.8 million and will push the total giving from Thrivent Financial past $180 million, during the eight-year partnership between the two organizations.

ReStore

The Habitat ReStore is a building materials reuse and surplus center that opened in March 2007. Habitat ReStore accepts new and used building-related materials from contractors, suppliers, individuals, remodelers and property managers. Some new materials are used directly in the construction of Habitat homes, most are offered to the general public to purchase at reduced prices.
