Thank you to all who participated in the 34th running of the Rim2Rim. We had record numbers of over 470 racers this year and thus the medals and T-shirts will need to be RE-ordered on Monday. We will hope to have them available at the ReStore for pick-up next week. Please stay tuned for an update. She will be missed dearly. Our thoughts are with her family and we pray God will comfort and surround them with his eternal love. We are sorry for their deep loss. Please join us to celebrate all that was accomplished in 2010. We will be congratulating our ReStore and Affiliate Volunteers of the Year as well as rolling out our plans for 2011. Please plan on stopping in for treats and to spend time with our staff and board members. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday at the ReStore. Open house is planned from 2:30 to 4:30 with program stating around 3:30. See you there. Both the ReStore and the Habitat Office will be closed for much of the winter holiday. The ReStore will be closed until the Friday the 7th of January 2011, when it will resume its normal hours – Open Fridays and Saturdays from 9am to 2pm. The Habitat Office will be closed starting December 23rd and will reopen at 9am on Tuesday January 4th. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Habitat! Please join Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley dedicate their 6th and final home of the build season to Jason and Sarah Brown. They are a wonderful family and are thrilled to be buying a home that they can count on the heat working, the windows closing and a safe yard for their active two little boys to play in. They are moving out of nearly 100-year-old home without any foundation and very inefficient, as you may well think. They are hoping to have Thanksgiving dinner at their new home.
