The race is a grueling 7.5 miles out and back into the Snake River Canyon filled with lots of Idaho scenery. It begins at the beautiful Bass Lake located within Blue Lakes Country Club.  Racers speed up the 6% grade in hopes of capturing the Dash for Cash money that is given the first male and female racers to cross the top of the grade finish line.  The course then follows the Golf Course Road to the junction of Highway 93, crosses over our famous Perrine Bridge  with views of the Snake 500 feet below, then along the Canyon Rim Trail to the Canyon Springs road that drops them back into the canyon at that same 6% grade, across the Canyon Springs Golf Course to the city water pipeline bridge to get across the river and back to the Blue Lakes Country Club.  The race finishes back at Bass Lake with a gourmet luncheon and awards ceremonies.

- 9:00 am | Rim2Rim Walkers Start
- 10:00 am | Rim2Rim Runners Start
- Rim2Rim starts and finishes at Bass Lake at the Blue Lakes Country Club.
- Number Pick-up and Race Day Registration is from 7:00 AM – 9:15 AM at Blue Lakes Country Club. Allow plenty of time to park and ride the shuttle into the canyon.
The staggered start allows us to all eat together and start the Race Results Celebration earlier.

Donation Race Challenge
Racers are challenged to gain donation/pledges for Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley. Help us to help others by raising money to build simple decent and affordable homes in the Magic Valley. A big prize goes to the first, second and third place pledge/donation gatherers.  Just think, if each racer brought in just an additional $25, we would be able to raise the walls on an additional home this year.  Go for the big prize, see how much you can raise to change a families future!
Parking
Rim 2 Rim at Golf Course Road at top of North Rim. First 100 cars can park below. Bus rides provided to and from Bass Lake. (& back to Sportsman’s for ½ Rim.)
Prizes
- $50 cash prize to the fastest man and woman finisher.
- “BIG†prize for the runner or walker that brings in the most donations to Habitat for Humanity –to qualify all pledges must be turned into the Habitat office by September 3rdth
- Additional prizes in each age group for runners and walkers, with separate divisions for men and women.
- T-shirts for all Rim 2 Rim participants, as well as drawing for door prizes.

$100 cash prize to the first male and female runners to reach the top of the Blue Lakes Grade. $50 to the first male and female walkers.
T-Shirts
All Rim2Rim participants will receive a Rim2Rim t-shirt. To be guaranteed a t-shirt on race day pre-registration is required. T-shirts for racers registering after September 3rdth may not be available on race day and will have to be ordered and picked up at the Habitat Office.
Post Race Party
World famous Clear Springs Trout, salad, and cold beverages are included in the race cost for all race participants. Family members are welcome to purchase lunch tickets for $10.00 at the registration desk the day of the race. The Party will be held at Blue Lakes Country Club.
